As I am based in Leeds, it would be difficult to accurately report on poetry events throughout the country. So have divided this page up into three parts which I update most days.
Firstly there is the Leeds Poetry Events,
followed by Yorkshire Poetry Events,
then poetry events from Events Outside of Yorkshire.

The Grove Bookshop Writing Group
A monthly supportive social group of local writers, meeting once a month. Facilitated by Emily Devan. The National Poetry Centre
The National Poetry Centre exists to provide a national home for poetry in the UK – connecting people from all backgrounds and cultures to poetry. The new centre is due to be opened in Leeds in 2029.

Talking Zebras
We were founded in 2012 to promote enjoyment of the spoken word. At our core, we have our friendly meetings, lasting about 2 hours, held twice a month on a Saturday afternoon. The Bobbin Carrier, Centurion Way, Cleckheaton, BD19 3QB. The pub is about 20 minutes walk from Cleckheaton, it is situated near the chain bar roundabout (junction 26 of the M62) and very close to bus stops for the 268 route.
