- Poetry Publishers | Bob and Poetry .com
Links to all the top U.K. poetry publishers and presses, as highlighted in reviews in magazines, and as Bob spots them. Links to many Worldwide publishers, too. Please do get in touch if there is a Publisher you would like added. Poetry Publishers There are so many excellent presses and publishers at present. In an effort to measure how high their profile is I have written in blue (from 2021 only) the most recent time that the press had a listings (later just reviews) in the Poetry Book Society (PBS) Bulletin, which is published quarterly. This is supplemented by appearances in reviews of the poetry magazines that I subscribe to. I have listed the priority I give to these at the bottom of the page. I have restricted the list to publishers of poetry in the English language, and languages from the U.K. and Ireland. I have now added some prize winners in blue . I list all the prize wins, but only the most recent shortlist. I plan to permanently list the all prize winners, but only the most recent prize shortlisting.) Priority 1 . First it is based on book reviews in magazines I subscribe to: Poetry Book Society Bulletin (Spring 2021 to Summer 2025 ) Note: Until 2024 this magazine listed all new releases at the back, but since Winter 2024 (issue 283) it has listed only the books/pamphlets it reviews. Priority 2 . The Poetry Review (Spring 2021 to Spring 2025) Priority 3 . Magma Poetry (Spring 2021 to Spring 2025) Poetry London (Spring 2021 to Spring 2025 ) The North (January 2021 to August 2024 - issue 70) Priority 4 . Followed by online magazines I like to read: The High Window (April 2021 to December 2023) Tears in the Fence (from the website only) Priority 5.
